Booking Administrator - Radiology

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced administratorwho learns quickly retains information and is accurate in their work. Naturally you will haveexcellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a variety of people and problems often all at the same time.
This is an all-rounder role that will be involved in all aspects of admin in the department. Your primary duties will include scheduling patients for appointments and procedures within the Interventional Radiology area of the Radiology Department.
Daily tasks will include booking patients for appointments and procedures using our radiology information system (Karisma) and patient management system (SIPICS) phoning patients and responding to enquires sending out appointment letters and changing patient appointments at short notice to suit patient and clinical need. The role will also require involvement with Charge MITs Consultants and Nurses not only within Radiology but also the wider hospital teams.
This is a fast-paced environment and the experienced applicant will thrive in this frontline area of the hospital demonstrating your ability to prioritise follow procedures and solve problems accordingly.
