Performs cost-benefit analyses of potential and existing customers and maintains positive customer relationships to ensure renewals and expansions. What Will You Do as a Private School Sales Representative
- You will manage customer acquisitions retention and attrition.
- You will consistently prospect for new business opportunities.
- You will track progress towards sales goals and close rates.
- You will reach or exceed sales goals and incentive targets.
- You will prepare awareness presentations - 5-minute 15-minute and 30-minute presentation mastery is required.
- Develop scheduled in-person or digital school/diocese visits per week throughout the selling season; in addition to contacting other accounts by phone/email.
- Effectively incorporates web-based presentations in weekly sales plan.
- Collaborate with sales team members and other supporting departments (marketing editorial ....) to ensure accounts are well managed/maintained.
- Develops and delivers to management a written territory business plan (August for September-December and December for January-June).
- Update the CRM database after each phone call or personal visit to a customer and maintain prospect/lead list that is current detailed and accurate.
- Participates in a weekly 1:1 call with manager summarizing previous week and articulating goals for current week and provides written detailed territory reports upon request.
Who Do We Need as a Private School Sales Representative
- An experienced and successful sales representative with 5-10 years of proven success in the Catholic and private school market. Solid Archdiocesan and Diocesan contacts is highly preferred.
- Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year College is required with successful outside sales/fundraising experience.
- Someone who takes initiative and works independently demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset by actively problem-solving and utilizing strong critical thinking skills.
- Someone who can handle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and customer service. This position requires excellent time management skills.
- Someone who can open new business consistently and upsell existing accounts.
- 30-40% travel is required.
- A valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record are required in accordance with the companys corporate driving policy.
- Someone who can work well independently as well as in a team environment.
