Electronics design engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electronics Design Engineer to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of electronic hardware from concept through to production. This includes schematic design PCB layout coordination component selection prototyping testing and documentation.
You will work on innovative solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams including embedded software mechanical and test engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design analog digital and mixed-signal circuits based on project requirements
- Develop schematics and support PCB layout considering signal integrity power integrity thermal and EMI/EMC constraints
- Select appropriate components based on functionality availability cost and lifecycle
- Build and test prototypes validate designs through simulation bench testing and integrations
- Collaborate with embedded mechanical and test engineers to ensure system-level integration and get final product approval
- Generate design documentation including BOMs schematics Compliance of PCBs and test procedures
- Participate in design reviews debugging improvements in design validations
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g. MIL-STD EMC/EMI safety)
- Coordinate with procurement team in fabrication and assembly of PCBs and mechanical parts
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Electrical or related Engineering discipline
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware design
- Proficiency in schematic capture tools (Altium OrCAD KiCAD etc.)
- Strong understanding of analog/digital circuit design power supplies microcontrollers and communication protocols
- Experience in using lab instruments (oscilloscopes multimeters logic analyzers RF Test equipment and embedded tools etc)
- Ability to debug hardware issues and support cross-functional troubleshooting
- Good documentation and communication skills
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with high-speed design signal integrity and impedance matching
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC design practices and compliance testing
- Experience with simulation tools (LTspice PSpice Simulink etc.)
- Exposure to FPGA/SoC interfaces or RF circuit design
- Experience in defense aerospace or automotive compliance environments
