The job:
In this role youll be responsible for the inspection diagnosis repair and maintenance of our fleet of trucks and heavy-duty equipment. Youll ensure our vehicles are safe reliable and ready to serve the community each day.
What Youll Do
Diagnose repair and maintain diesel CNG gas and electric trucks as well as related heavy-duty equipment
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings
Complete work orders order parts and track repairs in M5 planner
Use power tools hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and complete repairs
Assist with reviewing mechanical write-ups and scheduling repairs
Work both independently and as part of a supportive team of technicians
What You Bring
Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic (required)
Minimum 1 year of post-certification experience (asset if more)
Strong diagnostic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and follow repair manuals work orders and safety procedures
Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs. kneel crawl and work in varied conditions (heat cold dust noise fumes)
