The Pacific Area Materials Management Department (MMD) is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Admin Support person.This role will report to the Area Distribution Manager and is based at the Pacific Area Office in Takapuna Auckland New Zealand.
The Admin Support position encompasses working with stakeholders to provide administration support to various managers with the Support Services Department. It also involves a job share component whereby the role will support the reception position.
As an Admin Support you will be responsible for answering and directing phone calls meeting and greeting visitors meeting room bookings assisting in mail delivery processes processing credit card expenditure report preparing summary reports and supporting visa applications.
Additional duties may include assisting with administration and clerical tasks such as data entry and word processing.
Minimum two years experience in a receptionist or customer service role
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Word Excel and Outlook
Strong verbal communication skills including a warm and friendly phone manner
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus
Positive cheerful and friendly attitude
Proven organisational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
Proven initiative and ability to work unsupervised
