Cook-I is responsible for preparing hot food items for all areas of the department. Prepare food for cold prep grab and go and bulk production. Prep food items as needed for menu cycles

- Job is based at Rev Hugh Cooper Admin Center
- Work hours: Days
Ideal Candidate:
One to three years experience in high volume food preparation and cooking of food in a hotel restaurant cafeteria catering firm government or private institution.
Qualifications
- High School/GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation of hot food items for all areas as indicated by menu cycles.
- Responsible for preliminary preparation of food items for next day as indicated by menu cycle.
- Ability to read production tickets
- Assists with routine cleaning and sanitation of areas.
- Assists with serving food items as indicated by established workflow
- Must demonstrate competency in knife skills
- Must demonstrate competency in food service safety practices and procedures and temperature control
- Assists with other duties as needed
