What We Are Looking For
The Tool Shop Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations as follows:
- Schedule tool deliveries to and from jobsites
- Load/unload tools and materials for jobsites
- Maintain electronic records for staging/receiving jobsite materials
- Maintain electronic records of tool inventory per job
- Coordinate tool/material needs with Foremen and Project Managers
- Manage incoming/outgoing shipments through Logistics
- Keep manager informed of the status of tool inventory
- Oversee Warehouse Associates assigning tasks and providing daily direction
- Manage physical material allocated to Prefab
- Assist Safety Department with calibration/maintenance of safety tools
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness/organization of the warehouse
- Report problems or changes to manager minimizing unforeseen surprises/issues
Qualifications Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Resourcefully prioritize a demanding schedule
- Effectively supervise a team
- Effectively work with vendors
- Collaborate with other departments To work calmly under deadlines and external pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient math skills
- Strong computer skills proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Forklift certified
