Job Summary

As a Director Sales Development you will provide strategy mentorship and guidance to a team of Sales Development managers ultimately furthering the growth of our organization. This role impacts one of the largest lines of business in the company through prospect generation and sales pipeline volume and contributes to molding the future Account Executives and leaders of Datadog.

What Youll Do:

  • Forecast performance based on team productivity
  • Hire oversee and train a team of Sales Development Managers
  • Develop and monitor successful outbound prospecting strategies
  • Facilitate the ramp up for all new team members coaching them to success
  • Evaluate trends to identify areas for improvement and surface best-practices
  • Work alongside Sales Development Managers to ensure Account Executive readiness for phase-three Sales Development Representatives
  • Cross-collaborate with stakeholder departments to actualize on go-to-market strategies develop training curriculum and meet hiring goals

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in 5 years of hi-tech cycle direct sales
  • Familiar with SaaS/Cloud and Salesforce
  • Passionate about coaching mentorship and team management
  • A self-starter who thrives in a high-growth rapidly changing marketplace
  • Proven in your track record of success exceeding personal and team quotas
  • Able to work cross-functionally leveraging your organizational and time management expertise
