Job Summary:

The Airborne Multi-Mission Electronics (AMME) Team at Raytheon is seeking a talented Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Lab Manager to join our team in Tucson AZ. The EMI Lab Manager in Tucson AZ is responsible for managing the daily operations of the EMI Lab. This includes managing the overall lab facility from a safety and security perspective as well as managing all EMI equipment and coordinating lab purchase orders and deliveries. Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel) is required as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate should be organized disciplined and possess experience working in an engineering lab environment.

This position is an onsite role located in Tucson AZ.

What You Will Do:

  • Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) management; provide direction for lab users on established
  • Lead audit/assessment preparation and support while assuring alignment with policies and documentation.
  • Coordination implementation and management of Environmental Health Safety and Sustainment (EHSS) policies as needed in lab operations.
  • Application and coordination of Property Management and Metrology processes for lab assets.
  • Perform cost analysis ensure task completion within approved budgets.
  • Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material hardware and documentation utilizing defense and Export Administration regulations.
  • Responsible for administration of policy and guidelines which impact lab operations such as Foreign Object Elimination Electrostatic Discharge and Manufacturing Processes.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of experience with work environment compliance such as safety security logistics and/or asset management
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook)
  • Experience with electronic test equipment.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Currently holds a DoD issued security clearance of Secret or higher
  • Experience working directly with engineers scientists technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment
  • Experience with OSHA/EHSS industrial policies and regulations
  • Experience with NISPOM JAFAN and other security requirements
  • Ability to build positive constructive professional relationships
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong constructive problem-solving skills

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
