The DC Operations Manager is responsible for the successful leadership of the Scoresby Despatch team and for providing strategic leadership of the function to ensure an effective and efficient Logistics operations. The role is to manage the supply and distribution of customer and intercompany orders preserving product integrity and guaranteeing agreed service levels.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Ensure that team members have the direction tools and freedom to achieve excellent results in their roles; removes obstacles and focuses people on opportunities not hurdles
- Effectively lead the Despatch team providing an open line of communication support and direction to each direct report and engaging with the team to remain visible and relevant as a leader
- Coach and mentor the skills development of your teamu
- Ensure that all customers orders are despatched accurately and on time
- Develop and maintain warehouse management processes that allow for maximum warehouse untilisation
- Foster and maintain a work environment conducive to continuous improvement employee engagement and the highest levels of safe working practices.
