Job Description

Where does this role fit in

  • You will be part of the Finance team which supports all areas of the organisation.
  • You will rotate between the Business Partnering team (working with managers and budget holders) and the Financial Reporting team (helping with accounts audits and reports).
  • You will play an important role in making sure that financial information is accurate timely and useful for decision-making.
  • You will also support colleagues across the business by helping them understand finance and how it impacts their work.

What skills and experience do you need

We are looking for someone who is motivated eager to learn and enjoys working with numbers. You dont need a degree but you do need the following:

  • Confident with numbers and has good attention to detail.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and V-lookups).
  • Able to work in a finance team (at least 12 months experience).
  • Qualified to AAT Level 3 (or above) with Maths and English GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above).
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines.

What are the pay and benefits

  • This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) on a fixed term contract for 3 years.
  • The salary is 25579
  • Flexible working policies this role would be both home and office based which could either be at our Swansea Cardiff or Newport head office. Your base location will be set to your nearest head office.
  • 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays rising to 30 days with length of service
