What the Role Involves

• Providing Maths support to secondary students both in small groups and 1:1 helping them build confidence and close learning gaps
• Delivering intervention sessions aimed at exam technique revision and skills development
• Supporting Maths teachers with classroom management and differentiation strategies
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting support where needed to ensure impact

What the School is Looking For
This role is ideal for someone with a First Class degree in Mathematics (or strongly related field). We are looking for a proactive and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with young people. Previous experience in supporting students academically is highly valued.

Salary and Contract Info

• 450530 per week pro rata to term-time only for an Academic Mentor role
• Full-time or part-time long-term placement from September through to the following July
• Potential for future teacher training or extended contract for right candidate
