UAB Callahan Eye is seeking a self-motivated individual for the Patient Encounter Specialist position in its Ambulatory Department. The successful candidate will assume various responsibilities in patient registration. This position may require working a rotating schedule and occasional travel to multiple locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for registering patients
Monitoring referrals
Collecting co-pays and scheduling appointments
Perform other duties as assigned
