Were looking for a Grounds Maintenance Working Supervisor to join our busy team. Youll play a key role in keeping our sites looking their best while ensuring safe efficient and high-quality work. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.
What youll do:
- Carrying out routine and specialised grounds maintenance tasks including mowing strimming spraying litter picking planting and pruning.
- Managing equipment vehicles tools and work sites to ensure they are clean well-maintained and ready for use.
- Collaborating with your team to deliver high-quality results and maintain smooth workflows.
- Following company and client systems procedures and technology for recording work.
- Complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental policies using PPE correctly and identifying potential risks.
- Actively seeking ways to improve processes efficiency and sustainability on site.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and representing the company positively at all times.
What were looking for:
- Practical experience in grounds maintenance.
- Ability to operate machinery and vehicles safely.
- Basic IT literacy and competence with mobile devices.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness to carry out demanding tasks.
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to work independently when needed.
Desirable skills and qualifications:
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Formal horticultural qualifications.
- PA1 & PA6a spraying qualifications.
