Job Description

Job Role: Microsoft Full Stack Technical Lead with Angular
Location: Cedar Rapids IA
10 years of experience in Application Development and Maintenance with
  • Windows (Win32) Services.
  • C# .NET Framework.
  • Multi-threaded code management.
  • Quartz timer library (using CRON strings)
  • Basic TCP/IP network calls (until Netserver goes away) then just https network experience.
  • Considerable experience with XML and XSL transforms (adapter uses quite a few complex XSL transforms).
  • Basic object-oriented design (interfaces inheritance polymorphism etc.) the adapter uses some of these techniques as well as abstract design due to the nature of accepting XML request intended for old AWD Netserver translating them into either SOAP requests or RESTful interface requests that Chorus can understand. Getting the results back and reversing the translation back to what the caller is expecting.

  • Git source repositories (Bitbucket cloud host).
  • Visual Studio 2022.
  • Knowledge in Life Insurance domain is a plus
  • Any exposure to AWD is a plus
