Role Overview:
The Oracle Planning Cloud Specialist will provide production support and expertise for Oracle Cloud Demand Management Supply Planning Supply Chain Collaboration and Global Order Promising (GOP) modules. This is a techno-functional role requiring strong business analysis capabilities planning process expertise and hands-on skills in functional configuration technical documentation and issue resolution. The specialist will collaborate with business and IT teams to manage requirements design planning solutions and ensure stable operations through testing cycles and continuous improvements.
Experience / Skills Required:
Experience with Oracle Planning Cloud modules (Demand Management Supply Planning Collaboration GOP)
Strong business analytical skills for gathering/documenting requirements and leading fit-gap analysis
Experience in business process design and conference room pilots (CRPs)
Experience performing functional configuration and supporting planning processes
Experience preparing technical design documentation (TDD) for enhancements
Experience in handling testing cycles with issue analysis and resolution
Knowledge of Fusion OTBI reporting
Experience identifying diagnosing and resolving system bugs and user-reported issues
Understanding of Planning tables architecture with basic SQL knowledge
Experience analyzing and providing guidance on Oracle patch testing cycles (monthly quarterly semiannual)
Experience modifying project documentation (security role changes setups integration specs)
Tasks To Be Performed / Skillsets Required:
Provide consulting support for planning architecture and ERP alignment
Implement maintain and support Planning Cloud solutions
Collaborate with business stakeholders to design fit-gap analysis and CRPs
Translate requirements into functional configuration and planning solutions
Prepare TDDs and manage build/configuration of enhancements
Support testing cycles and resolve issues reported by users
Provide guidance on patch testing cycles (monthly quarterly semiannual)
Maintain and update project documentation for roles setups and integration specifications
Ensure out-of-the-box solutions are leveraged effectively and provide recommendations for improvements
Years Experience Desired:
Overall 12 Years of IT experience
5 years with Oracle Planning Cloud
5 years with Oracle SCM applications
Certification Preferred:
Oracle Planning Cloud certification (Demand Management Supply Planning or GOP
