Role Overview:
The Sr. Oracle Commerce Cloud Technical Developer will be responsible for designing developing and supporting Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) solutions. This is a technical role requiring strong expertise in OCC platform development custom extensions and integrations using tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) OCC Server-Side Extensions (SSE) Oracle Storefront Batch Services and MongoDB. The developer will collaborate with ERP retail and business teams to build test and maintain robust e-commerce integrations and ensure system stability.
Experience / Skills Required :
Experience in Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) platform development
Experience in designing developing unit testing and implementing e-commerce solutions
Experience developing custom widgets extensions and integrations within OCC
Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting for OCC platform
Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Knowledge of OCC SSE (Server-Side Extensions)
Knowledge of Oracle Storefront
Knowledge of Oracle Commerce Batch Services and MongoDB
Experience in designing/redesigning programs unit testing and migration of new or existing commerce integrations
Tasks To Be Performed / Skillsets Required:
Design develop unit test and implement OCC e-commerce solutions
Develop custom widgets extensions and integrations within the OCC platform
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for OCC platform issues
Collaborate with ERP production support resources to analyze root causes of issues
Make recommendations for configuration and setup changes as required
Modify project documentation such as security role changes application setups technical integration specifications
Consult on changes to interfaces with Oracle Store Inventory Operations Cloud Service (SIOCS)
Analyze and provide guidance on Oracle patch testing cycles (monthly quarterly semiannual)
Interpret requirements and translate them into out-of-the-box OCC solutions
Years Experience Desired:
Overall 12 Years of IT experience
3 years with Oracle Cloud Applications
5 years with non-Cloud Oracle applications
Certification Preferred:
Oracle Commerce Cloud certification
