Lead Backend Engineer

• Lead the design and development of backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Create and maintain APIs optimized for handling large data volumes with high efficiency.
• Implement advanced SQL queries and ensure performance tuning for database interactions.
• Maintain rigorous data security measures and robust authentication/authorization protocols.
• Develop automated tests (unit integration and data validation) to ensure software reliability.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and oversee containerized deployments via Kubernetes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including frontend and product to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers facilitating technical discussions and code reviews.
• Monitor and optimize application performance diagnosing and resolving production issues.

Qualifications :

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend service development.
• Expertise in RESTful API design and optimization for large datasets.
• Advanced SQL skills including query optimization and data modeling.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in container orchestration and deployment using Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of authentication and security standards including OAuth2 and JWT.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Exposure to large-scale analytics platforms or real-time reporting systems.

Advanced English proficiency required.

How much experience must I have

Minimum of 5 years in backend software development specifically working with Java/Springboot.
