Basic Function: | Instruct assigned Recreational Services group fitness classes and/or programs. Reports to Assistant Director Fitness and Wellness or designated supervisor. |

Examples of Duties: | Duties/essential functions may include but not be limited to the following: Safely and effectively instruct creative group fitness classes. |

Minimum Qualifications: | High school diploma GED or other equivalent. Previous group exercise instructor experienceor recent certification in lieu of professional experience. License/Certification: Current and nationally recognized National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) group exercise certification required. Must obtain American Red Cross certification in CPR/AED for professional rescuers and Health Care Providers within 30 days of being hired. Other licensures/certifications may be required for specific classes or programs. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: | Light work Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. May require occasional travel on and off-campus. |
Working Schedule: | ON CALL/AS NEEDED PART TIME TERM ASSIGNMENT. |
