Are You a Fit
We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL & Oracle Forms Developer to develop and maintain enterprise applications built on Oracle technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming Oracle Forms/Reports development and a solid understanding of database design and performance optimization.
The tasks expected for this role are as follows:
- Analyze the logic of Oracle Forms to understand the data flow and business logic contained within each form.
- Call APIs from Oracle Forms via wrappers as needed instead of relying solely on the built-in modifications directly onto the tables.
- Test each screen to ensure that no data is duplicated and the end-user will have no disruptions of their work due to the modifications.
- Analyze packages and processes to understand the logic and replace certain modifications for REST API calls.
- Test the packages to verify that the functionality isnt compromised.
Must- have Skills
- Solid hands on experience with:
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Triggers
- Dynamic SQL
- Cursors
- Stored Procedures
- Package Managing
- Views
- Oracle Forms
- Form Triggers
- Knowledge of the data flow within Oracle Forms
- Oracle Reports (preferred)
- Modification of the SQR files
- SQR knowledge preferable
- Use of API and tools for consulting API
- Swagger
- Postman
