An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Reliability Engineer to join a global leader in the aerospace and defence industry working on innovative mission-critical systems.

You will be part of the Reliability Maintainability & Safety (RMS) team embedding Design for Reliability (DfR) practices across new and existing programmes and ensuring compliance with international aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reliability maintainability and safety (RMS) analyses at both component and system level.
  • Produce reliability predictions FMECAs/FMEAs maintainability analyses and fault tree analyses (FTA).
  • Support DfR activities such as DFMEA risk management logs HALT/HASS and robustness modelling.
  • Analyse in-service data and support FRACAS processes to drive product improvement.
  • Work with design and development teams to ensure products meet certification requirements (ARP4754A ARP4761 DO-178C/DO-254 MIL-HDBK-217).
  • Prepare technical reports and liaise with internal stakeholders and customers.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 2 years experience in a technical engineering role.
  • Background in aerospace defence avionics or other safety-critical sectors preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of FMEA FMECAs FRACAS reliability block diagrams fault tree analysis and reliability modelling.
  • Familiarity with aerospace certification standards (ARP4754A ARP4761 DO-178C DO-254 MIL-HDBK-217).
  • Experience with reliability/statistical tools such as Minitab Weibull or Windchill Quality Solutions.
  • Knowledge of fuel hydraulic or avionics systems would be an advantage.
