Payroll Senior

Responsibilities

As a Payroll Senior youll be at the heart of this payroll bureau ensuring seamless service delivery for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up new clients and adding them to Sage including creating HMRC accounts.
  • Managing CIS submissions and handling Auto Enrolment duties.
  • Liaising with pension scheme providers to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
  • Submitting declarations of compliance and addressing related queries.
  • Running multiple payrolls with precision and efficiency.
  • Supporting team members and handling administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous payroll experience ideally in a bureau environment or Practice.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation Auto Enrolment and payroll systems (Sage 50 experience is a plus).
  • Skills: Ability to manage multiple payrolls work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team Player: Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualifications: CIPP/Payroll qualification is advantageous but not essential.
