Short Description
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of the highest quality patient care services.
- Will assist Occupational Therapist in all aspects of patient care related to occupational therapy.
- Will interact with physicians directly as related to patient care issues.
Experience Required
- Completion of student related affiliations as per academic setting.
- 0-2 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Adult rehabilitation in acute care and/or outpatient preferred but not required.
Education Requirements
Associates degree from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
License/Certification Requirements
Current NJ-OTA - NJ Occupational Therapist Assistant license required.
BLS required.
Special Requirements
Demonstrates initiative originality resourcefulness and good judgment for devising treatment techniques adaptive devices and completing all assigned duties.
