Join our team at this beautiful rehabilitative and long-term care facility located minutes from the hospital and the medical office park. We pride ourselves in a warm inviting home-like and comfortable environment and a commitment to meeting the needs of the patients we serve. Our rehab team works collaboratively utilizing a multidisciplinary approach with nursing doctors and our excellent restorative nursing aides physical and occupational therapists and speech language pathologists. This facility has a focus on post-acute rehab for short stay recovery in addition to evidence-based interventions for our long term and assisted living residents.
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant performs services planned delegated and supervised by the Occupational Therapist. Participates in the rehabilitative plan of care designed by the Occupational Therapist and physician and monitored and evaluated by the Occupational Therapist.
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants program with an Associates Degree approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Licensed or certified by the state in which the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant resides or practices according to state requirements and has received certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Inc. (NBCOT).
