Job Summary
The Combination Welder is responsible for preparing and welding materials using
MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) techniques. This position is
responsible for welding aluminum and steel depending on the product being
welded.
1. Weld metal components to fabricate or repair products within the plant.
2. Create quality welds according to blueprints provided for projects.
3. Prepare product to be welded by grinding drilling milling tapping and cutting steel/aluminum parts.
4. Ensure that finished products are properly packed identified and moved to the right location.
5. Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that company safety measure
are being taken with precaution.
6. Perform first piece and periodic inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
-2-3 years exp mig/tig welding
-Willing to cross train in other depts (Shipping/Receiving Material Handling Machine Operator)
-Ability to read blueprints and operate precision measuring devices such as caliper micrometer etc
