Compensation: $39.70 - $39.70/hour

Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Welder Maintenance. The primary duties include heating and bending to form metal shapes drilling torch cutting hammer forging grinding sawing and fitting of metal parts. The Welder Maintenance will also perform metal work and sheet metal work to buildings structures and facilities.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

Welding shall be performed on light heavy guage and headlined metals using flat vertical horizontal and overhead positions.

Shall accomplish all work utilizing materials which match or exceed the quality of similar components on the same building.

Shall fabricate install and repair security screens partitions and gates. For security screens the Contractor shall imbed grid ends in the structure or weld to a frame on the inside.

Performs maintenance of equipment to include but not limited to wheeled vehicles track vehicles engineer equipment power generation and material handling equipment.

Perform major repair jobs by disassembling and cleaning parts removing components removal and installation of assemblies and installation of components.

Qualifications:

Highschool/Diploma GED is .

Minimum 5 years experience in welding similar vehicles and equipment .

Welding Certificate ARC MIG to include blueprint reading .

Journeyman level preferred.

Ability to read understand and follow technical manuals to ensure proper diagnosis and repair.

Must be able to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

Mustpossessexcellent oral and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

May be to reach kneel walk stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

Work may require repetitive motion reaching lifting kneeling and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time climbing in and out of a vehicle and up and down stairs may also be .

Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

A valid state drivers license is with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance.
