The Sales Development Representative (SDR)plays a critical role in driving awareness and the adoption of Cohesitys solutions. This foundational role is suited for individuals passionate about beginning a career in sales. The role is focused on identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the development of a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to build and refine outbound prospecting lists.
Identify key decision-makers within target accounts.
Create and execute multi-channel outreach sequences (phone email LinkedIn etc.).
Conduct discovery calls to assess prospective needs and introduce Cohesity solutions.
Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone email LinkedIn etc.
Qualify leads using predefined criteria and book meetings for Account Executives to progress opportunities.
Work closely with account executives to hand off qualified opportunities.
Develop deep knowledge of Cohesitys platform to confidently communicate our value proposition.
Qualifications and Experience:
Must be fluent in German.
Enthusiasm for sales with ideally 1 year of relevant experience.
Comfortable using CRM and prospecting tools.
Experience with researching companies cold calling emailing and navigating organizational hierarchies.
Confident in making cold calls and handling objections.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Receptive to coaching and continuous feedback.
High level of grit and perseverance in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
Collaborative team-first attitude with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices.
Self-motivated with a focus on learning and career development.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
College or bachelors degree.
