Support Addis operational excellence by meticulously executing core banking processes identifying and resolving daily challenges and providing the data-driven analysis needed to build scalable and automated systems.
Execute Flawless Daily Reconciliations: Execute daily and weekly reconciliations for all core banking transactions (ACH MasterCard etc.) within the established control framework reducing un-reconciled transactions.
Contribute to Process Fortification: Assist in mapping 100% of critical operational processes by documenting detailed workflows identifying data sources and gathering initial metrics on bottlenecks to support improvement initiatives within the first 6 months.
Drive Task-Level Efficiency: Identify and document at least 3 opportunities for process automation and successfully automate at least 1 of them using low-tech tools (e.g. advanced Excel/Google Sheets Zapier).
Maintain Operational Visibility: Maintain the Operational Health Dashboard by ensuring data accuracy and generating a weekly Operational Health summary report highlighting key trends in transaction volumes error rates and SLAs for the Bank Ops area.
Proven expertise with core banking processes or operations
1-3 years of hands-on experience in a bank operations fintech operations or financial analysis role preferably within the Colombian financial system.
Understands and executes core banking processes including ACH compensation/settlement (Integra) card network processes (MasterCard) and multi-system banking reconciliation.
Possesses a foundational practical understanding of core banking operational flows and the ability to identify common failure points and exceptions.
Hands-on experience with the day-to-day operation of banking products/features such as ACH transfers PSE and debit cards.
Possesses Impeccable analytical and quantitative mindset
The ability to use data to investigate specific operational problems find the root cause and validate findings.
Top-tier attention to detail ensuring accuracy in reconciliations reports and data entry.
Adept at querying data with SQL to perform independent analysis and answer operational questions.
Experience with business intelligence tools (Databricks Looker PowerBI) to track KPIs and analyze trends in your area of responsibility.
Have outstanding Process Design & Automation Mindset
Proactively identifies and documents inefficiencies bottlenecks or repetitive manual work in daily tasks. You think in terms of making your own work more efficient.
Instead of just performing a manual task you look for opportunities to streamline it using available tools (e.g. advanced Excel functions Google App Scripts Zapier).
Demonstrated ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing accurate data documenting existing workflows (as-is mapping) and testing new solutions.
Demonstrates Extreme Ownership & Bias for Action
Takes full responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of their assigned tasks and analyses from daily reconciliations to weekly reports.

Step 1: People Interview (30 min)
A conversation with a recruiter to get to know you your experience and what youre looking for. Well also share more about Addi our culture and the role.
Step 2: Technical assessment (30 min)
A session to assess your skills using SQL one of our team members will ask you to solve different exercises using your SQL experience
Step 3: Initial Interview (45 min)
A more in-depth conversation with the hiring manager where we explore your skills experience and problem-solving approach. We want to understand how you think and work.
Step 4: Case Study (3-5 Days)
You may receive a real-world challenge or case study to complete. This is a chance to showcase your expertise and how you approach key problems relevant to the role.
Step 5: Co-Founder Interview
If theres a strong match youll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there well move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
