Location/Division Specific Information
The Buyer II position is located in Mumbai. Joining the LCD Group means you will be instrumental in catering to various customers encompassing academic pharmaceutical biotech government and industrial sectors. Our aim is to empower customers to concentrate on their critical tasks by delivering outstanding products and services. Represented by our Qualigens brand we offer choice and convenience through a professional sales team a global network of resellers and distributors catalogs and an innovative website.
Key Responsibilities:
The Buyer is responsible for ensuring perfect execution of procurement strategies and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Roll out and lead strategic discussions with suppliers to optimize procurement processes and align production planning
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with senior leaders to set goals and review performance
- Manage vendor lead times and address any advanced issues promptly
- Drive service performance to meet or exceed internal and customer expectations
- Apply Microsoft Office and data mining tools to track service levels and manage inventory
Non-Negotiable Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Masters in Chemical
- 6 years of experience in procurement
- Proficiency in Excel Access Word PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced problem-solving and influencing skills
- Preferred Additional Requirements/Qualifications
- Supplier/vendor management experience
