Full-Time 1.0 FTE 8-hour shifts Days (no nights/weekends/holidays)
$7500 Sign-on Bonus Available *Based on meeting eligibility requirements.

This is a specialty clinic; some form of wound care background is preferred. A wound care clinic nurse is responsible for rooming patients getting vitals wound dressing changes and working with the physician to form a plan of care. The wound clinic is open Monday-Friday no weekends no call/no holidays and nurses work 8-hour shifts. The wound clinic works as a team to treat patients with the goal of healing; it is very gratifying to watch a patient heal from beginning to end. 2-3 sentences max about the individual unit/department team (assignments perks (flexible schedule work-life balance workday balance) team culture etc.).
How you will contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role will:
Performs plan of care intervention including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments as well as other medical care treatment.
Documents patient care given.
Monitors records and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team physician patient and family.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living including personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we are looking for
Applicants should have a state of Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelors degree preferred).
Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
