Job Summary
Starting Salary: $37.88 - $48.30
Performs professional-level work involving the management of construction and design scheduling within the Capital Improvements Plan Division for the City of Orlando. Manages the timely completion of pre-construction and construction activities such as assistance with procurement and schedule development. Manages complex special projects for the Department and Division beginning with modernization of the Citys Capital Improvements processes including on-boarding of Division/Department-wide enterprise resource planning software. Performs other tasks as needed or assigned. Work is performed under the supervision of the Division Manager and Assistant Division Manager. Work is reviewed during biweekly meetings and periodic on-site visits.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management Business or related field and a minimum of four years (4) experience in the area of construction project management or process management; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Valid Florida Drivers License required. Project or process management software experience desired.
This is a full-time CONTRACT position with the same benefits as Regular full-time. Most contracts are renewable for terms of one year.
