Job Summary

Part-Time Strength & Conditioning Coach (High School Student Athletes)

Location: Chandler AZ
Hours: Part-Time (Approx. 25-28 hours/week)
Schedule: Afternoons evenings and some weekends as needed

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Weight Lifting Trainer / Strength & Conditioning Coach to work with high school student-athletes across multiple sports programs. The trainer will design and lead structured workouts focused on strength training injury prevention speed agility and overall athletic performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safe sport-specific strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes.
  • Teach proper weightlifting form technique and injury-prevention strategies.
  • Supervise training sessions in the weight room to ensure safety and maximum effort.
  • Collaborate with coaches and athletic trainers to align training with team goals.
  • Track athlete progress and provide regular feedback to athletes and coaching staff.
  • Maintain a clean organized and positive training environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience in strength and conditioning personal training or athletic performance coaching (high school or college-level preferred).
  • Strong background in weightlifting exercise science or kinesiology.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate young athletes.
  • High level of professionalism and reliability.
  • Previous experience working with high school or collegiate athletes.
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one
  • Reliable transportation

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
  • Approximately 25-28 hours per week.
