The Thriving Scot Title III Program will be integral to these efforts as the Program will allow for the enhancement of student retention and success through the establishment and development of living and learning communities and other student-centered initiatives.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Provost the Title III Program Director will manage and oversee all aspects of the Title III Program ensuring compliance with federal state and institution regulations and policies effective implementation of grant objectives and strategic utilization of resources. This role will require close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to advance the institutions educational mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and administration of the Title III grant ensuring alignment with
grant and institutional goals.
Oversee budgeting reporting and compliance to meet federal and institutional
requirements.
Foster collaboration across departments to ensure project success and resource
sharing.
Develop strategic plans for the sustainability of the program beyond the grant period.
Engage in regular communication with the U.S. Department of Education and ensure
timely submission of all reports.
Provide leadership for program staff guiding them towards project goals and
professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree required; doctoral degree preferred in education counseling public
administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of five years of experience working with state or federally funded educational
opportunity programs academic support programs or similar programs for
underrepresented and at-risk college students.
Minimum of two years of experience with program development implementation
management and evaluation.

Formal training or experience in best practices and programming that improves the
persistence academic standing and graduation rates of underrepresented and first-
generation college students.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and projects.
Exceptional organizational communication and analytical skills.
