Job Title:Title I Literacy Tutor

Reports to:K-8 Literacy Coordinator
Summary:
The Title I Tutor will work with classroom teachers to identify students who require substantial intervention in Literacy. The tutor will work with these students primarily in a push-in model for the purpose of small group and targeted assistance aligned with the Literacy curriculum. This is a Part-Time position 18 hours per I Tutorsarea grant-funded position and as such is contingenton theavailabilityof funding.

Responsibilities:
- Complete the required paperwork for the strategies/interventions as outlined in Title I regulations
- Work with the principal and classroom teachers to identify potential students for assistance/ intervention using objective criteria
- Teach multiple small intervention groups.
- Progress monitor and analyze student data

- Demonstrated ability to implement interventions in Literacy programs and to provide support to at-risk students
