At AAA your success is our an Automotive Repair Technician A we can offer you:
The starting base compensation for this position is $24.50 to $38.03 hourly flat rate. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience geographic location and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
30 Hour Billable Week Guarantee
The opportunity to earn a productivity bonus on each biweekly paycheck ranging $250 - $550!
Our full-time technicians work a total of 5 days each week with Mondays Friday & Saturdays typically required. Youll get Sundays off each week and another day during the week off dependent on business need.
What our Automotive Repair Technician As do:
Routinely perform diagnostics and repair work in the following areas: engine repair transmission/transmission repair suspension and steering brakes (including ABS/traction control work) electrical heating/air conditioning other jobs as assigned.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills and continue to develop additional technical skills to enable flexibility in work assignments.
What you will need to succeed:
Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and provide technical guidance at a level normally acquired through the completion of six (6) years or more as an Automotive Technician.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certification as a Master Automotive Technician preferred or the equivalent knowledge and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire (Paid for by AAA).
National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) L1 (Advanced Engine Performance) certification is preferred.
Ability to train and mentor other Repair Technicians and Service Associates.
Ability to lift up to a maximum of 75lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.
Valid Drivers License.
The ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check drug screening fitness for duty assessment) if offered the position.
Authorized to work in the USA.
