School of Health and Clinical Sciences

  • Full-time appointment on a tenurable basis.
  • Base salary range: Level D $173024 $190355 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

The Department of Social Work and Social Policy is located in the School and delivers a postgraduate Master of Social Work and an undergraduate Bachelor of Social Work this along with Higher Degree by Research options and Graduate Certificates and micro credentials.

About the opportunity

  • Lead the strategic development and operational delivery of the Field Education program
  • Contribute to teaching research and academic leadership within the Department and School and play a key role in integrating practice-based learning
  • Establish the programs professional standing as well as building robust links with industry partners the professional community and other academic units

About you

  • A Bachelors degree in social work or equivalent higher qualification
  • Extensive social work practice experience including field education leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead academic programs and manage teams.
  • Strong networks within the health and human services sectors.
  • Experience in supervising social work students and staff.
