Base salary range: Level D $173024 $190355 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

The Department of Social Work and Social Policy is located in the School and delivers a postgraduate Master of Social Work and an undergraduate Bachelor of Social Work this along with Higher Degree by Research options and Graduate Certificates and micro credentials.

About the opportunity

Lead the strategic development and operational delivery of the Field Education program
Contribute to teaching research and academic leadership within the Department and School and play a key role in integrating practice-based learning
Establish the programs professional standing as well as building robust links with industry partners the professional community and other academic units

About you

A Bachelors degree in social work or equivalent higher qualification
Extensive social work practice experience including field education leadership.
Proven ability to lead academic programs and manage teams.
Strong networks within the health and human services sectors.
Experience in supervising social work students and staff.
