Job Summary

About the Role:
Join a global leader in advanced materials and adhesives where innovation sustainability and collaboration drive everything we do. As a Principal Application Engineer you will lead technical engineering efforts for our semiconductor materials programs supporting both developmental and commercialized products. Youll work closely with customers to optimize material application processes troubleshoot complex issues and ensure products deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical lead for semiconductor material programs including sintering paste applications.
  • Develop in-depth application knowledge for semiconductor electronics markets.
  • Optimize product application processes and provide direct customer support to resolve technical challenges.
  • Solve fundamental technology-specific problems for entire product lines through innovative approaches.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure successful product deployment and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Material Science/Engineering Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 10 years of experience with materials in semiconductor environments.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor power packaging trends including high thermal adhesives and sintering processes preferred.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and design of experiments (DOE).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills ownership and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to provide on-site support for complex technical issues.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
