Position Overview
The SRC Facility Operations & Membership Supervisor oversees daily operations at the Sachs Recreation Center including front desk management membership administration and facility reservations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who excels at customer service staff supervision and ensuring smooth facility operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and schedule 10-12 front desk staff overseeing payroll cash handling and membership administration.
- Manage facility reservations rentals parties and after-hours events including contracts payments and room setups.
- Ensure smooth facility operations access control and top-notch customer service.
- Recruit train and evaluate staff while promoting SRC memberships and programs.
- Coordinate special events and enforce policies to maintain a safe welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; additional education in recreation or facility management preferred.
- 3 years of recreation facility or fitness membership experience; 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong organizational communication and multitasking skills.
- Flexible schedule including after-hours events; proficient in Microsoft Office and facility software.
Physical & Working Conditions
- Based at the busy Sachs Recreation Center with typical fitness facility noise.
- Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs; requires close/distance vision and attention to detail.
- This position has a variable work schedule and is flexible based on seasonal needs after-hours events and Manager on Duty schedules.
Pay & Benefits
Full-time exempt position with a salary range of$55000$60000depending on qualifications and experience. Comprehensive benefits include health dental and vision insurance IMRF pension paid time off a wellness incentive program and free/discounted access to Park District facilities and programs.
