Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable maintainable and high-performance software solutions.
- Refactor and optimize existing codebases ensuring adherence to best practices and modern software architecture principles.
- Collaborate with other team members ensuring that developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Contribute to the platforms evolution optimizing performance security and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain schedule flexibility to adapt to an international team dynamic.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software development.
- 2 years of experience in PHP.
- Advanced experience in JavaScript and NodeJS.
- Solid knowledge of AWS including services such as Lambda S3 CloudWatch and SQS.
- Experience with database design and optimization.
- Experience handling legacy code refactoring and improving existing codebases.
- English Advanced
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Symfony Zend or Laravel.
- Message/queue processing at scale (Kafka RabbitMQ Kinesis).
- ReactJs.
- Express.
- Terraform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices.
- Ability to refactor and modernize legacy code improving maintainability and performance.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
