Job Summary
The incumbent of this position shall be responsible for the review/ approval of the geotechnical design
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering / Geo Physics from an accredited University to the approval of the Engineer.
Should be holding a recognized post graduate degree in Geo technical engineering / Soil Mechanics to the approval of the Engineer.
Minimum 12 years demonstrable experience in subsurface investigations related to site civil and landfill design (building foundations cut and fill slopes retaining walls landslides and pavements
Must be adept in coordination or monitoring subsurface drilling obtaining soil and rock samples preparing boring logs developing laboratory testing programs interpreting laboratory data performing geotechnical analyses and report preparation etc.
Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with good capability in oral and written communication skills.
