Job Description

Job Summary (Senior Hands-on OpenText Engineer)

- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OpenText Content Server / xECM architecture and administration
- Deploy configure and maintain enterprise-scale OpenText environments
- Manage system upgrades patches performance tuning and ensure system stability
- Design and develop solutions using WebReports Workflows and custom scripting
- Develop and optimize database-level integrations (SQL/PostgreSQL)
- Integrate OpenText Content Server with enterprise applications using xECM widgets
- Perform CIS modeling file plan design and metadata standardization
- Provide technical guidance and architectural insight for large-scale OpenText implementations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable maintainable solutions
- Utilize Linux (RHEL) and AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS) in OpenText environments
- Apply expertise in PostgreSQL including queries functions and performance tuning
- Stay current with best practices and new features in OpenText technologies

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
- OpenText product certifications
- Experience with additional OpenText products (e.g. Brava! Blazon Archive Center)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python Bash) for automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for OpenText deployments
