Location: Rowlett TX 75088

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to lead and support our Emergency Department (ED) nursing team. This permanent full-time role is ideal for a confident and compassionate RN with strong leadership capabilities and a solid background in emergency nursing. The RN Supervisor will serve as a clinical and administrative resource ensuring high-quality patient care efficient department operations and staff mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all clinical activities during assigned shifts in the Emergency Department.
Serve as a resource for nursing staff in clinical decision-making and patient care planning.
Assist with staffing scheduling and performance evaluations.
Promote patient safety efficient workflows and adherence to policies and procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Support staff development and ongoing education through coaching and mentoring.
Respond to emergency situations and provide direct patient care as needed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associates Degree in Nursing (Required)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department setting
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Charge RN or supervisory role

Certifications/Licensure:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already certified
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
