Team Specification: Procurement Category Management Support Team
Purpose
To provide analytical project management and reporting support to Global Category Managers across strategic procurement initiatives. The team will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making managing deal pipelines and producing high-impact management presentations.
Position - Senior Procurement Category Management Analyst
Role Summary
The Senior Analyst will lead the teams analytical and reporting efforts acting as the primary interface with Global Category Managers. They will ensure quality consistency and strategic alignment in all outputs while mentoring junior analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of category-level data analysis and insights.
- Oversee the production of executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
- Manage and track the global deal pipeline ensuring visibility and progress.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs and ensure alignment with category strategies.
- Provide guidance and quality assurance for junior analysts.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting and analytical processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years in procurement or category management roles.
- Advanced Excel/data manipulation skills (e.g. pivot tables Power Query dashboards).
- Strong PowerPoint skills with ability to craft compelling management-level narratives.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes sourcing strategies and supplier management.
- Experience working in a global matrixed environment preferred.
