Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the planning coordination and execution of cold storage facility projects across the country. This hands-on role requires managing multiple projects ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards and leading teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management for construction refurbishment and upgrade of cold storage facilities.
Plan budget allocate resources and schedule project activities effectively.
Ensure compliance with health safety environmental and legal requirements particularly ammonia refrigeration systems.
Coordinate with contractors suppliers consultants and internal stakeholders.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress and produce regular status reports.
Supervise installation commissioning and handover of refrigeration systems.
Travel nationally to manage multiple project sites.
Qualifications & Experience:
Trade Test Qualification (e.g. Millwright Refrigeration Mechanic Fitter & Turner).
Minimum 5 years project management experience in cold storage food processing or industrial refrigeration.
Proven experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
Project Management qualification is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of building services mechanical installations and cold chain management.
Sound understanding of health and safety legislation.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel nationally.
