Job Summary

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank you will be an experienced member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering reliable market-leading technology products that are secure stable and scalable.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone proficient with big data technologies experienced with cloud platforms and competent at basic application are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with large datasets using Enterprise Data Science tools and practices
- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction transformation and analysis.
- Collaborate with data scientists analysts and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data quality integrity and security across all data engineering activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience
- Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages: Python Java
- Experienced in Unit testing Version Control SDLC
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Expereince with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) Terraform CloudFormation Ansible
- Experience coding in Spark
- Cloud experience: AWS
- Exposure to Databricks
- Experience in Agile frameworks
