Job Summary

Introduction

We are looking for a Social Creative Lead to spearhead our social-first creative output across TikTok Instagram YouTube Shorts and emerging platforms. This role blends trend-driven ideation creative direction and content production leadership to deliver viral high-performing content that grows our brand reach engagement and sales.

The Social Creative Lead will work closely with the Social Media Lead Video/Content Team and Creative Director ensuring our content is not just on-brand but also culturally relevant and built for performance.

What Youll Do

Creative Strategy & Ideation

  • Lead creative direction for short-form video and social-first content.
  • Translate brand and campaign objectives into platform-native viral-ready content ideas.
  • Monitor cultural trends memes sounds and formats to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
  • Partner with the Social Media Lead to balance brand-building and performance-driven content.

Content Direction & Production

  • Direct the Content & Video Team on concept execution storytelling style editing techniques and pacing.
  • Collaborate with Influencer Marketing to brief creators/UGC partners on brand content needs.
  • Work with Paid Ads team to ensure social creative is adaptable for performance testing.
  • Oversee scriptwriting storyboarding and shoot planning for social content.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align with the Senior Art Director on campaign storytelling and ensure campaign assets have strong social-first adaptations.
  • Work with the Lead Designer to integrate brand identity and motion/graphic elements into social video.
  • Partner with Content & Copywriting to refine messaging hooks and CTAs for maximum impact.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Act as the creative voice for social content within the org.
  • Mentor content creators editors and designers working on social-first projects.
  • Set creative standards and inspire the team to push boundaries in digital storytelling.

Success Metrics

  • Growth in engagement and reach across TikTok Instagram and YouTube.
  • Improved creative performance in Paid Ads using social-native content.
  • Increased velocity of trend-driven creative output (time from ideation execution).
  • Strong alignment between campaign creative and social-native adaptations.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Creative Director
  • Collaborates closely with: Social Media Lead Content & Video Team Lead Designer Senior Art Director
  • Direct influence over: Content creators video editors and external UGC/influencers

Who You Are

  • A social-first creative leader with at least 5 years of proven experience in directing and producing short-form content across TikTok Instagram YouTube Shorts and emerging platforms.
  • Someone with a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to create content with viral potential showcasing high-performing social work strong creative vision and a sharp eye for detail visual quality and brand-consistent storytelling.
  • Equipped with a deep understanding of design principles brand systems and digital culture with the ability to evolve a brands visual identity across multiple social touchpoints.
  • Both a trend-spotter and strategist able to translate cultural insights memes and formats into platform-native content that resonates.
  • Experienced in fashion lifestyle beauty or retail/e-commerce (preferred but not required).
  • A natural mentor and creative standard-setter able to inspire and elevate a team of content creators editors and designers.
  • A collaborative partner who thrives in multidisciplinary teams aligning with design influencer marketing paid media and campaign leads to deliver unified creative output.
  • Confident in balancing brand-building and performance-driven content ensuring that creativity fuels both culture and conversion.
