Job Description
The Village at/of Erin Meadows located in 2930 Erin Centre Blvd. Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Part Time Chef to join their team.
Chef LTC 10-6 shift TPT 30 hours bi-weekly

To be successful as our Chef you will:
- Be a graduate of Chef Training or have a Diploma in Culinary Management from an accredited college or equivalent
- Valid Food Safety Certification
- Current Smart Serve Certification
- Have flexibility to work a variety of different shifts including days evenings weekends (including holidays)
- Have a passion for menu and recipe development
- Knowledge of cost control
- Experience in coaching and developing teams
- Understand the physical mental and emotional demands of the Chef role
It would be an asset if our new Chef has:
- Acquired a Red Seal designation
- Possesses an understanding of therapeutic diets
- Knowledge of relevant policies procedures legislation regulations and best practices applicable to senior living
