Job Summary

Our client is a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Nigeria. Due to expansion they are in need of a À la Carte Chef.

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook à la carte menu items to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
  • Ensure timely service and smooth coordination during peak dining periods.
  • Maintain portion control quality and consistency in every dish served.
  • Support menu development with innovative à la carte dishes that enhance guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene and HACCP standards at all times.
  • Manage mise en place and ensure readiness of ingredients before service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor ingredient usage reduce waste and support cost control initiatives.
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff assigned to the à la carte section.

Job Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts Catering or related field.
  • Minimum 35 years experience in à la carte service within hotels or fine dining restaurants.
  • Strong knowledge of international and local cuisines.
