About the Role:
As an RN Supervisor youll oversee the day-to-day and long-term planning of patient care. Youll manage nursing staff collaborate with physicians and provide both physical and emotional support to residents and their families. This is a leadership role withcareer growth potential.
You Will:
- Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet patient care needs
- Foster a compassionate environment through emotional and psychological support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve patient needs
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by implementing procedures and protocols
- Ensure compliance with infection control and medication administration policies
- Audit documentation and ensure confidentiality of patient records
- Oversee medical equipment and coordinate maintenance
- Build strong relationships with healthcare teams and participate in problem-solving
Requirements:
- Current NYS RN License (BSN preferred but not required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care or medical/surgical settings
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
