We are looking for an Engineering Data Management Specialist to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

Mission: Special subtype of system engineering with the focus on a transversal Engineering speciality: Engineering Data Management. Collaborates closely with the Chief Engineer / engineering project manager of different systems/system elements for Airbus Defence and Space applying the most efficient and innovative technologies process and tools related to this specific area.

Areas of impact: Project management software development lifecycles scheduling engineering KPI reporting interactive dashboards delivery management requirements database administration technical documentation processes

Responsibilities:

Analyze and integrate data from multiple platforms
Develop robust mechanisms for tracking various metrics and KPIs
Data modelling
Develop automated reports which will reduce manual efforts
Develop customized dashboards which will be used for optimizing financial performance and helping on strategic decision-making process
Prepare management reports and presentations both recurring and ad-hoc
Based on business needs occasional travel within and outside the country may be required.

Requirements:

Skills

Proven analytics modelling and data interpretation skills
Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful actionable insights
Strong Excel skills with aptitude for learning other analytics tools (Qlik Sense)
Presentation skills to present the results in a visually appealing way
Adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background
Ability to easily communicate and interact with stakeholders; the role is transversal and assumes communication with various managers and teams most communication needs to be handled remotely
Knowledge on the Specialty area: Project Management and basic financial processes
Fluent in English ideally basic German and French
